LOCATED AT the crossroads of a quiet residential neighborhood and a thriving commercial area with many shops and restaurants, Berkeley Moshav will be an inclusive jewish community, diverse in age, income, family structure, and Jewish observance.

Designed by architect Studio KDA, the community will comprise 38 flats with shared amenities, including a ground level courtyard, 3,000 square foot common house and a 3rd floor terrace. On a street with frequent bus service and 1.2 miles from the North Berkeley BART, Berkeley Moshav will offer excellent transit access. Local grocer Berkeley Bowl West is less than a mile away and two synagogues are within walking distance.

CURRENT STATUS

In collaboration with the project team, current members of the Berkeley Moshav community are actively marketing the project and engaging additional members. Almost half of the 36 homes have been reserved. This spring we obtained entitlements and preliminary design approval from the city. We have completed design development and will be starting construction drawings in July.

The project is anticipated to start construction in Q3 2024 and its projected delivery date is Q1 2026.
