We're excited to be working in Downtown Lake Oswego. Stay in the loop as our North Anchor apartment and hotel projects take shape.
Tell us more about yourself.
the City of Lake OSwego selected UD+P to Lead the redevelopment of three parcels in the heart of downtown Lake Oswego, Oregon, a highly desirable close-in Portland Suburb.
Referred to as "North Anchor" because of its strategic location at the north end of downtown's retail and restaurant core, this 1.07-acre, city-owned site sits at the northeast end of B Avenue, a key pedestrian thoroughfare. It is in close proximity to several recent investments, including The Windward, a mixed-use project with over 200 market-rate apartment units and ground-floor retail, Beacon, a mixed-use building with retail, office, and a high-end event space, and Lake View Village, a popular destination for retail shopping and dining. A variety of civic and community uses, including Lake Oswego City Hall and Public Library, Millennium Plaza Park, and Foothills Park, are within a 10-minute walk.
UD+P has assembled an experienced team of designers, engineers, and consultants to ensure the project will deliver the utmost value to the Lake Oswego community and honor the city’s development standards, rich history and culture through exceptional design. Our planned development plan includes hospitality and residential components. Hotel Almira, an 86-room boutique hotel, will feature upscale amenities, including a 6,000 SF thermal spa, along with ground-floor dining and lounge areas. LONA Apartments, a mixed-use residential community, will feature 67 well-appointed apartments designed to accommodate urban lifestyles, ground floor-retail along B Avenue, and covered off-street parking. Both projects are designed to activate the pedestrian realm and provide neighborhood and community goods and services.
