St. Johns flats

UDP acquired St. Johns Flats from a bank in late 2010. Located on the east side of the St. Johns Bridge, the project had been stalled at 50% completion for years. We saw an opportunity to complete construction, offer beautiful living spaces to one of our favorite neighborhoods, and acquire an excellent asset in the process.

UDP recommenced construction in early 2011, completed construction on schedule in August 2011, and had the building fully leased within 14 weeks.

St. Johns Flats is comprised of a five-story building with 12 tranquil, spacious apartments plus one duplex. The views of St. Johns Bridge and the west hills are breathtaking—among the very best views in Portland. St. Johns Flats is just blocks from the river, Cathedral Park, St. Johns Theater and Pub, public transit, schools, restaurants, markets, and other neighborhood-serving local establishments. We are delighted to own and manage a property in the middle of St. Johns Village and to be a part of this wonderful community.
