MICHELLE SCHAEFLE
Property Management
At UDP, we take pride in being a progressive, well-run property management company, and we are fortunate to have Michelle Schaefle on our property management team. She creates maintenance schedules, works with vendors, develops our use of property management software, and works on marketing and leasing. Michelle also oversees internal bookkeeping, accounting, and file management for our properties. With her excellent skills in photography, communications, and marketing, Michelle is indispensable to our day-to-day operations. Michelle often works side by side with Neeley Wells, and her role at UDP is always expanding as we acquire and develop additional properties.
Michelle provides excellent client service: she is responsive to tenants’ needs, compassionate, and honest—and she always follows through with our tenants if they need our attention. A Licensed Property Manager, Michelle manages The Richmond, our historic 1924 apartment building on SE 37th and Division. She looks after the quality of individual units, common areas, and exterior aesthetics—ensuring the ongoing beauty and environmental integrity of the building. Michelle also works with Neeley to manage “Good Food Here,” our food cart hub at 43rd and Belmont, and she will be working with 3810 Division once we complete construction.
Before joining UDP, Michelle managed a veterinary hospital for 12 years. She was raised in Southeast Portland and graduated from Franklin High School. Michelle married her high school sweetheart, and they live with their two boys just a mile from Michelle’s childhood home.
