Petria Black
Project Coordinator
When we begin construction on a new project, we are lucky to have Petria Black on the scene to see that every phase of the process is completed according to plan. As our Project Coordinator, she meets regularly with construction crews to keep the building process in line with contracts and specifications. She also makes sure that our timeline is intact so we can lease our retail and residential spaces on schedule. 
She works on interior and exterior design schemes, coordinates meetings with architects and contractors, and works directly with the Bureau of Development Services on plan sheets and building permits.
In addition, Petria provides support for Avi Ben-Zaken on construction design, color choices for buildings, interior decoration, and color palettes. She assists Eric Cress with marketing, helps Neeley Wells with retail leasing, and assists Michelle Schaefle with residential leasing. Petria studied graphic design at the College of the Redwoods in Eureka, CA, and she works closely with a graphics company on our marketing material. Petria currently lives in southeast Portland with her husband, two children, and her dog “Tank.”
